1. Services & Inquiries

Overseas Trading Corporation provides used ISO shipping containers, customized container modifications, portable office cabins, security guard booths, container homes, and transport delivery services across India. Quotes provided via our forms or direct communication are estimates only and do not bind us to complete a sale until a formal sales agreement or invoice is issued.

2. Pricing, Invoicing & GST

All prices quoted on our website or through custom inquiries are subject to market variations, steel index pricing, and stock availability. Official pricing will be detailed on the Proforma Invoice (PI) or Invoice. Goods and Services Tax (GST) is charged according to Government of India regulations unless explicitly stated otherwise.

3. Delivery & Transportation

We offer container transport and on-site positioning services. Delivery timelines provided are estimates. While we use professional carriers to ensure timely delivery, we are not liable for transit delays caused by port strikes, custom detentions, highway blockages, weather disturbances, or other force majeure events.

4. Inspection & Quality Assurance

For all pre-owned and refurbished containers (Grade A, B, or C), we advise clients or their authorized representatives to perform physical or virtual inspections at our depot prior to dispatch. Once a container is loaded onto the transport vehicle and leaves our depot, it is considered accepted in its present condition unless specified in writing.

5. Prohibited Activities

You may not use our containers for storing or transporting illegal goods, hazardous chemicals (without proper declarations and permits), explosives, or any items banned under the Indian Customs Act. Our website content, logo, branding, and text are protected by intellectual property laws and may not be copied without permission.

6. Limitation of Liability

Overseas Trading Corporation, its directors, employees, or partners shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use our containers, transit delays, or modifications made by third parties after delivery.

7. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from website usage or container sales shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Kolkata, West Bengal, India.
